
GourmetPAST Multiplier Event at VSGT Maribor
On November 12, VSGT Maribor hosted an inspiring event as part of the international GourmetPAST project – the Multiplier Event. The goal was to present the project’s results, emphasize the importance of preserving culinary heritage, and introduce visitors to the traditional flavors of Slovenian, Italian, and Romanian cuisine.
The event unfolded in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, where guests enjoyed:
- Presentations of the project results, highlighting key steps in preserving traditional recipes and passing this knowledge to younger generations.
- A tasting of dishes prepared by VSGT Maribor students – authentic flavors of tradition delighted everyone present!
- The launch of our recipe book, created from traditional recipes developed during the project’s co-creation workshops. The book captures the richness of flavors and the historical and cultural stories behind them.
The event brought together culinary professionals, students, professors, and culinary heritage enthusiasts. Guests emphasized the importance of respecting and preserving culinary traditions as they reflect our culture, history, and identity.
